The Senior Center of Milford provides services and activities for older adults (60+) in Seward County. The center offers low-cost nutritious meals* five days per week. Reservations must be made one day in advance. On the third Thursday of each month, instead of the noon meal, a catered evening meal is served and is open to the public. Speakers are scheduled periodically on topics of interest, plus offering some adult education and special interest classes.
A variety of recreational activities are offered daily, including crafts, quilting, card games, music and day trips.
Many opportunities exist for volunteers to share their time and talents. The Center offers regularly scheduled blood pressure screenings, foot care, walking and wellness classes. The Senior Shuttle provides transportation to older adults anywhere around town. Shopping assistance and mail pick-up is also available.
