We have no greater asset than our young people; no better cause than their education.

Purpose
The Milford Schools Foundation will solicit and receive contributions, gifts, grants, devices or bequests, or real or personal property from individuals, foundations, partnerships, associations, govenmental bodies, and public or private corporations, to:
• Provide scholarships aid to students or teachers
• Enhance academic programs
• Promote the use of technology to enhance learning
• Support selected educational programs
• Fund enrichment activities
• Support special projects linking the public schools and the citizens of the district

Foundation Structure
The Foundation is governed by a board of directors, selected for three year terms by the Milford Public Schools Board of Education.

Mission Statement
The Milford Schools Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the betterment of public education through charitable giving. Our mission is:
1. to build and manage an endowment fund and,
2. To accept and distribute gift for the benefit of students and teachers in the Milford school district.

Funds will be used to:
• Enhance learning opportunities for students
• Support effective teaching
• Strengthen community participation in our public schools
